I updated the list with the committee members names who are to contact the remaining sponsors. Please check the list if you left early because we may have assigned you a few extras. Next meeting is planned for October 3 at noon and we are going to have a conference call. Looks like Stefanie already got it all set up! Thanks!
In the last bit of the meeting we discussed dates and venues for the February event; Heart and Sole. The 3 dates we are looking at are Feb. 5-7. We discussed the following venues and these committee members have committed to calling them to see if they are available: Lincoln Country Club-Liz, Chez Hay-Sam, Del Ray-Sam, Champions Club-Nichole, Rococo-Jill, Train Station-Sam, and Wilderness Ridge-Jill. When calling these places ask about availability, price, seating, and catering. Have this done by Oct. 3 meeting.
Also, Sam is going to check UNL, Embassy, and Cornhuskers calendars for possible conflicts. Nichole is going to check with Downtown Association and Lincoln Chamber of Commerce/YPG.

The Chocolate Lovers Fantasy event is set for Feb 13th at Embassy Suites so we have no conflict with this event for the YWCA February fundraiser.
The Downtown Lincoln Association has no conflicts with February 5, 6, or 7.
I called UNL, Embassy Suites, Lied Center, and Corhusker Hotel...
UNL- has nothing on those dates
Embassy Suites- 5th- UNL Touchdown Club fundraiser, 6th- Alzheimers Association Fundraiser, 7th- Nebraska Heart Holiday Party
Cornhusker- 5th & 6th open and 7th- UNL Athletic Booster Auction
Lied- 6th-National Acrobats of China(which I don't think is a real big conflict)
Lincoln Chamber of Commerce has nothing scheduled on 5, 6 or 7.
The Lincoln Young Professionals Group will have a netquirking event on the 6th. Those are usually from 5-7 so depending on the time of our event, it may not conflict.
